Oh My!!

Summer is warm here in South Carolina, OH MY!!!!!.....HOT really! and we understand why they move slow here; you have to in order to survive! Last winter they had a freak snow storm here and we got some great pictures at our pond. Our beloved and always faithful Golden Retriever, Shiloh always takes such great pictures! It melted quickly but the night it fell our granddaughter Kirsten was so excited. She had come to stay over night and we walked out under the large Oak trees near the little house. It was just so quiet and beautiful; the large branches were heavy with lines of snow...breathtaking!....and the next day we headed down to the pond and it too was just wonderful to see. I guess it had not snowed like that in 40 years. Now, we are having the hottest summer, early, that they have had in a very long time. My Gary is, as always, finishing a project. We are building a paddock area behind the little house to either sell or rent with 5 acres. It is an extremely hot job. The other day he had a hand towel soaked in water to protect the top of his head from the sun, I called him sheek Gary!! I love him more than anything on this earth, as we journey together!! stepping out that walk with God as our Guide. Please, have a sweet and blessed day, won't you?....Kari

Summer Time

WE have had a busy summer so far. Of course we are renovating our little house in the country....the country of South Carolina. We spent the 4th building on the paddock area with Steve and his kids. I painted on the trim on the house, changing it from dark red trim to camel. Gary is in the process of building a large deck on the back and then also a new porch on the front. We have gutted, plumbed, electric, drywalled the entire inside. It is a beach home time little place. Our cabin in Indiana still needs a little finishing too. When do we have time. I think we Make IT!!!!.....well, I am stalling on doing some extra sorting and tubbing for now. Do you have closets and all your things unpacked and put into your home?.....you are blest!.....and we are too.....we do live on the end of the branches.....God Bless You!!!!
