So, many travels to explore together....both of us love to travel and anticipate the journeys!!
How wonderful our God is!! Giving us treasured friends forever!!...Taking up where we left off 27 years ago...Laughing, talking, sharing..... The loss of Kelly and her little baby was sad and they are still missed....I know no parent ever gets over that loss, our heart goes out to our precious friends. They have a fine son Troy in Conn with a wonderful family. Marsha and Floyd are making plans to retire in Texas but with all their talents we are sure they will only be semi-retired! Floyd is an accomplished artist and Marsha finished a BA in Interior Design recently.
So, we have a route planned to the state of Texas to see old friends, for sure! They were so important in our young days as new Christians. Our kids played together and happy memories there. Facebook, if nothing else, is bringing old friends back together!! We enjoyed going to a Farm Estate built by one of our countries first recognized female Architect. The family was gracious to make remarks in their will to leave the estate just as Theodosious Porter left it when she passed in 1946. Now, priceless Artwork, pottery over 2000 years old, Books, all the furniture from her time, etc. It was an awesome day from start at their favorite Breakfast, Lunch Corner Spot, to ending it at their sons' home for desert and pictures. Hard to say goodbye, but we all hope we don't let 27 years pass again without fellowship together!....Awesome and so blessed!! Our hearts are blessed!! Kari
